When we were kids, my brother was the greatest fort builder I knew… and it didn’t hurt that we had the perfect couch for couch-cushion fort building.  Our current couches don’t have removable cushions, so since that’s out of the question, some extra creativity is necessary.  We recently reorganized our closets, and put all our (huge!) flat sheets in the donate pile.  We never use them (since they just get scrunched to the bottom of the bed) and they take up too much valuable real estate.  For some reason, when I took a load of stuff to Goodwill the other day, I decided to leave those sheets out of the box.  And now I know why…

Two flat sheets + One barstool + One coat rack + Three of these bad boys = One awesome fort and two happy boys.
