Grati-Tuesday, Starting on Monday

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a gratitude post… too long!  I know that everyday holds a multitude of things to be thankful for, but admittedly, I’ve been too busy being cranky and overwhelmed to pay much attention.  Today (Monday), for whatever reason, God is highlighting so many little moments throughout my day I’d be remiss if I didn’t record them.  And since I’ve been slacking on my blog posts, I figured what better place to share than here?

Today (Monday), I’m grateful for:

~ a workout that left me motivated to keep working out.  a trainer who’s as passionate about my strength as he is about his own.  a husband who rearranged his morning schedule in order to make it possible for me to get to the gym.

~ friendly salespeople at StrideRite who helped us exchange some defective shoes for the “super-speediest” ones we could find.

~ for the chance to attend kindergarten chapel where I can watch sweet babes raise their hands to worship God, pray earnestly for sick classmates, and receive awards for being awesome.

~ for gymnastics, which gives my active boys the opportunity to channel their energy, learn new skills, and be proud of themselves.  and for Ryder’s sweet coach who told me I have “one great kid.”  🙂

And since I didn’t publish this post yesterday, today (Tuesday), I’m grateful for:

~ MOPs… for friends whose messes are just as beautiful as mine.

~ for a breezy day that’s warm enough to open the windows and air out the house a bit.  as much as I’ve whined about winter forgetting to show up for work, I can’t complain too much… especially since so many of my friends are freezing their tails off in the midwest.

~ for the 100th day of school.  because who doesn’t love hearing about all the things their kids got to count, sort, and EAT 🙂

~ for neighbors with boys the same age as mine.  especially when they invite one over for a playdate, allowing me to get some housework done… and watch Henry Hugglemonster with the other.

What are you grateful for?

I am grateful for a job that I love, working outside the home is hard enough. Leaving my babies at day care is not easy but my job allows me to leave when I need to, and working with women that praise God and come together for prayer when we need it, every day, uplifting each other and helping each other to stay connected to God is a blessing!

I am grateful for a husband that provides for me and our family not just financially but emotionally.

I am grateful for my miracle babies. Both of them.
